Terms & Friendly Disclaimer
A plain-language overview of how sqiigl works, what we promise, and where grown-ups stay in charge.
The short version 🐾
Sqiigl is designed to help kids explore safely, but no automated system is perfect. Parents and guardians should still supervise children's online activity. By using sqiigl, you agree to the friendly terms below.
What sqiigl is
Sqiigl is a kid-friendly search and discovery playground for ages 5–12. We use a mix of trusted sources, curation, and AI to turn the internet into something gentler — kid-safe summaries, fun facts, simple games, and discovery pages for movies, books, music, and more.
We work hard to keep it safe and accurate, but sqiigl is an evolving educational tool, not a perfect oracle.
A note about AI-generated content
Our system uses AI and content filters to rewrite information into kid-friendly language. AI is amazing, but it isn't always right. Occasionally an answer might be incomplete, oversimplified, or just plain off. We don't guarantee that everything sqiigl says is 100% accurate, and we encourage kids — and grown-ups — to double-check important things with a trusted source.
Where grown-ups stay in charge
Sqiigl is a helpful sidekick, not a babysitter. No filter or safety system is perfect, so the final responsibility for what kids see and do online belongs to the parent, guardian, or teacher in the room. We ask that grown-ups decide whether sqiigl is right for their child and check in on how they're using it.
Links to other places on the web
Sometimes sqiigl points to outside sites — Wikipedia, video players, music sources, and similar tools. We don't run those sites and can't control what shows up there. If your child clicks through to another service, that service's own rules and content apply, and we can't be responsible for what happens off sqiigl.
Our promise — and our limits
We promise to do our best to keep sqiigl safe, kind, and useful. But because sqiigl is provided as a free, best-effort service, we can't make legal guarantees about accuracy, uptime, or how it works on every device. To the fullest extent allowed by law, sqiigl and the small team behind it aren't responsible for losses, damages, or upsetting content that may come from using the site or following links away from it.
In plain English: please use sqiigl with the same care you'd use with any internet tool, and keep a grown-up nearby.
Working together
Sqiigl is built by a tiny team that genuinely cares about kids and families. If you (or your child) use the site in a way that breaks these terms or harms someone else, you agree not to hold the sqiigl team responsible for the fallout. We'd rather spend our time making sqiigl better than sorting out disputes.
Not professional advice
Anything sqiigl shares — facts, trivia, summaries, fun ideas — is meant for learning and play. It isn't medical, legal, financial, or professional advice. For the serious stuff, please talk to a qualified grown-up or professional.
Changes
We may update these terms as sqiigl grows. When we do, we'll post the new version here. Continuing to use sqiigl after an update means you're okay with the changes.
